How to Play Shining Force
Quick start
Explore Guardiana, speak with every adviser, recruit allies, and equip the force before entering battle. On tactical maps, keep fragile healers and mages behind tougher fighters, use terrain to reduce damage, and focus attacks to remove one enemy at a time. Return to headquarters to organise the active party and promote units after they gain levels.
Controls
D-pad: move the hero or battle cursor and navigate menus. A or C: open commands, confirm movement, attacks, spells, or targets. B: cancel or close a menu. Start opens status or pauses where supported. In battle, select a unit, destination, action, and target in sequence; range and terrain are shown on the grid.
