How to Play Sonic & Knuckles

Quick start

Choose Sonic for speed and aerial shield moves or Knuckles for gliding and wall climbing. Race through each act, keep rings as protection, and defeat the boss at the end. Enter giant gold rings with at least 50 rings to tackle Blue Sphere special stages and earn Chaos Emeralds.

Controls

D-pad: Move, look up, crouch, or steer while gliding. A/B/C: Jump and spin attack. Sonic can press again in midair for shield abilities; Knuckles holds after jumping to glide, then clings to suitable walls. Hold Down and tap an action button to charge a Spin Dash, then release Down. Start: Pause.
