How to Play Steel Empire
Quick start
Choose the biplane first for its smaller profile, then learn to fire in either horizontal direction. Hold the matching shot button toward each incoming wave, turn your attention before enemies surround the craft, and save the limited lightning bombs for dense formations or bosses. Collect Ex weapon levels, speed, options, health and extra bombs without crossing into walls; watch the side from which the stage is currently scrolling.
Controls
D-pad: move the aircraft. B: fire to the left. C: fire to the right. A: use one limited lightning smart bomb, damaging enemies and briefly protecting the craft. Start: pause. Ex icons raise firepower; other pickups restore energy or add speed, options, bombs, score, and lives. The biplane is agile while the zeppelin is larger and tougher.
