How to Play Superman: The Man of Steel
Quick start
Move Superman through side-scrolling and flight stages, rescue civilians, destroy hazards, and stop the villains controlling each area. Punch close enemies, use ranged powers only when the target is lined up, and search above and below the main route for switches or objectives. During flying sections, make small corrections to avoid scenery and enemy fire; save health pickups until damage has actually been taken.
Controls
D-pad: walk, crouch, climb where allowed, and steer during flight. A: activate the current super power or secondary action. B: punch or fire the main attack, depending on the stage. C: jump or engage flight when permitted. Start: pause. On-screen icons show which power is available, and some stages change the face-button function with the viewpoint.
