How to Play Syd of Valis
Quick start
Guide Yuko through Vecanti, defeat monsters, and collect upgrades for her sword, armour, and magic. Watch each enemy pattern before committing to a jump, use the sword at close range, and save limited magic for groups or bosses. Check the status and equipment screen after major pickups so the strongest available gear is active, then reach the end of each stage and defeat its guardian.
Controls
D-pad: move, crouch, climb, and select menu items. A: cast the equipped magic. B: attack with the sword. C: jump. Start: begin, pause, and view the status or equipment screen. Directional input adjusts a jump, so line up landings before attacking near pits.
