Begin by following the opening stage to the right and use the character assigned to each section. Bullwinkle is the heavier fighter: jump over gaps, head-butt nearby hazards, and save Moose Berries for enemies that are awkward to approach. Rocky uses the same jump layout but attacks with thrown nuts or a close tail spin. Watch the health flowers and the ammunition counters at the bottom of the Genesis screen, collect the stolen museum artifacts and flags placed along the route, and expect short mini-games between the main side-scrolling stages.

D-pad: move; press down to duck where the stage allows it. Start: pause. Bullwinkle — A: jump, B: throw a Moose Berry, C: head-butt. Rocky — A: jump, B: throw a nut, C: tail spin. The game changes which hero is active as the adventure advances, so use the matching set of attacks and conserve each hero’s limited thrown items.
