How to Play The Pirates of Dark Water

Quick start

Choose Ren, Ioz, or Tula, then search each side-scrolling stage for the remaining Treasures of Rule. Break containers and inspect upper and lower passages for keys, switches, health, and upgrades. Use the second jump to flip across wide gaps and save special items for bosses; each hero suits different obstacles.

Controls

D-pad: Move, crouch, climb, and enter alternate paths. A: Attack; press repeatedly near an enemy for a combo, or Up+A for a life-costing special. B: Jump; press again in the air to flip, and combine with Up or Down at platform edges to change levels. C: Use the selected item. Start: Pause.
