How to Play Thunder Force II
Quick start
Clear each stage by switching between free-scrolling overhead missions and fast side-view shooting. In overhead areas, locate and destroy every enemy base; in side-view areas, memorise terrain and keep an escape lane. Change weapons to match targets and adjust ship speed for tight passages.
Controls
D-pad: move the ship in eight directions. B: fire the main weapon. A: cycle weapons. C: change ship speed. Start: pause. Overhead stages scroll freely while side-view stages advance horizontally; weapon availability is lost or reduced after destruction depending on the mode.
