How to Play Thunder Force III
Quick start
Choose a starting planet and push through side-scrolling stages filled with terrain hazards and large enemies. Collect weapon upgrades, switch to the shot best suited to enemies above, below, or ahead, and lower ship speed in narrow passages. Surviving with a useful weapon set makes later bosses much easier.
Controls
D-pad: move the ship. B: fire the selected weapon. A: cycle through acquired weapons. C: change ship speed. Start: pause. Hold fire for continuous shots, watch the weapon name and speed indicator, and choose between forward, rear, wave, and other situational weapons.
