How to Play Lightening Force: Quest for the Darkstar
Quick start
Pick one of the first four stages and learn its terrain before chasing score. Keep Twin Shot and Back Shot available for enemies arriving from both directions, then collect Blade, Rail, Free Way or Snake weapons for specific firing patterns. Adjust ship speed rather than holding one setting through narrow passages, and protect CRAW satellites because they add defence and firepower. After the later upgrade, use Over Weapon in short bursts to avoid exhausting CRAW energy.
Controls
D-pad: move the ship in eight directions. A: cycle through available weapons. B: fire; hold for continuous fire and, after it becomes available, Over Weapon. C: change speed. Start: pause. The weapon bar shows owned weapons, current selection, ship speed and CRAW status.
