How to Play ToeJam & Earl

Quick start

Choose ToeJam or Earl and explore randomly arranged Earth levels to recover all ten pieces of their crashed spaceship. Reveal the map before searching for the elevator, use food to restore health, and run from dangerous Earthlings rather than fighting every encounter. Unidentified presents may help or harm, so open them in a safe area and remember useful results. In co-op, split up to search but reunite before taking an elevator.

Controls

D-pad: walk and choose menu items. A: use the selected present or confirm. B: perform the contextual sneak or secondary action. C: open and choose from the present inventory. Start: show the map and pause screen. Walk over food and ship pieces to collect them; in two-player play, monitor both characters when the view splits.
