How to Play Triple Play 96
Quick start
Choose an exhibition, playoff, or season, build the lineup, and play complete Major League-style games. At bat, wait for a hittable pitch, adjust timing for speed, and advance runners only when the ball clears the infield. On the mound, mix pitch types and locations, then move the nearest fielder after contact and throw to the lead base. Use pinch hitters, relievers, and defensive changes before a close game slips away.
Controls
D-pad: navigate menus, aim pitches and swings, move fielders, and control baserunners. Batting buttons swing or bunt; pitching buttons select pitch type and release. In the field, face buttons throw to the corresponding bases and switch the active fielder. Start pauses or opens strategy. Context prompts identify the active batting, pitching, running, or fielding function.
