How to Play Truxton
Quick start
Pilot the fighter through five vertically scrolling stages, destroy formations, and collect colour-coded power-ups to build one of three main weapons. Keep the shot active, learn which colour upgrades the current weapon, and move in small arcs through enemy fire. Use bombs when the screen closes around the ship or against a boss phase, but preserve at least one for recovery after a death when firepower is low.
Controls
D-pad: move the ship. A: fire the main weapon. B: use a bomb. C: main fire or rapid-fire function according to the selected controller option. Start: pause. Collect repeated power-up colours to strengthen the corresponding weapon, and hold fire while tapping directions rather than sweeping into new bullets.
