Invest profits in a stronger ship, navigational equipment and officers, save in port, and pursue the royal mission only after the fleet can survive a longer route.

Use the D-pad to move around town, steer at sea and move the cursor. C confirms menu choices, talks to people and opens or selects context commands; B cancels or backs out. A displays status or information, and A combined with a direction changes data pages such as fleet or supplies. Start opens the options or command menu, where saving is available in port. At sea, choose commands rather than expecting direct action controls: navigation, anchoring, battle and supply management are all menu-driven, so keep C for confirm and B for cancel consistent.
