How to Play Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair
Quick start
Move Wonder Boy through auto-scrolling land and flying stages, keeping the vitality meter filled by collecting fruit and food. Fire continuously, upgrade weapons, and prioritise food when the meter runs low. In two-player mode, share items and avoid leaving one player trapped at the edge of the scrolling screen.
Controls
D-pad: move in four directions. B: fire the equipped weapon. C: jump during ground sections. A: use a special attack or secondary weapon when available. Start: pause or join. Flying sections allow free movement, while ground sections scroll automatically and require timed jumps.
