How to Play World Series Baseball
Quick start
Choose exhibition or season play, set the lineup and pitcher, then control batting, pitching, fielding, and baserunning. At bat, align the circular cursor with the pitch and time the swing; use contact rather than power when protecting the count. Mix pitch type and location, move the nearest fielder after contact, and throw ahead of the lead runner. Use substitutions before fatigue becomes decisive.
Controls
D-pad: navigate menus, position the batting or pitching cursor, move fielders, and direct runners. Face buttons swing or bunt, select and release pitches, throw to mapped bases, and switch the controlled fielder according to the current phase. Start pauses or opens strategy. On-screen indicators show the active function.
