How to Play World Trophy Soccer
Quick start
Begin with an Exhibition and a balanced formation. Use short ground passes to move defenders, sprint only into open space, and shoot after facing goal rather than while turning. On defence, switch early to the nearest player, contain the dribbler, then tackle when the ball separates from the feet. Learn crosses and set pieces before entering league or cup play, and keep one defender behind an attack.
Controls
D-pad: move the selected player and aim passes or shots. A: short pass and switch defender. B: shoot, header, or tackle. C: long pass/cross and speed burst according to possession. Start: pause and team options. Direction plus action controls pass and shot angle; dead-ball screens select taker, aim, and power.
