How to Play Gensō Suikoden Card Stories
Quick start
Select "From the beginning" for the title, enter the main character's name, and confirm with "ED". The story begins with an incident that attacks the Unicorn Squad's camp, and progresses to the first card battle. Before the match, use coins to decide who goes first and last, then select up to three unnecessary cards from your six-card hand and redraw them. The basic idea is to place a leader and then send out allies that match the required values of swords, flags, and hammers for the mission.
Controls
Cross button: Move/menu/card selection. A: Decision/conversation/text sending. B: Cancel/Delete one character by entering name. L/R: Switching character sets and hand cards. START: Enlarge the selected card during battle to check its ability. SELECT: Display additional menu for battle, exit from labyrinth. When exchanging hands, specify up to 3 cards below and confirm with A.
