How to Play Geometry Wars: Galaxies
Quick start
Choose a profile slot, enter a name, submit it with X and confirm with A. Open Galaxies and select an available planet. Keep ATTACK on the drone for an initial battle and check the aiming settings. With stylus firing selected, move with the D-pad and aim using the stylus. Collect yellow Geoms when safe, use L for an available bomb and review drone behaviour before the next planet.
Controls
Menus use the D-pad, A to select and B to return. Options let the stylus control firing or movement, change handedness and choose the active display. With the standard movement layout and stylus firing, steer with the D-pad and aim on the touch screen. L activates an available bomb; START opens pause. Drone behaviour is selected before entering a planet and cannot be changed during the battle.
Geometry Wars: Galaxies — About this game
Geometry Wars: Galaxies expands arena shooting into a campaign of planetary battles. Destroyed enemies drop yellow Geoms: collecting them raises the score multiplier and supplies currency for new planets, systems and drone behaviours. Your autonomous drone begins with ATTACK, but other purchased behaviours change the assistance it provides. A behaviour improves through use, so choosing one before a battle matters as much as keeping a safe escape route during it. Retro Evolved offers the classic endless shooting mode alongside the campaign. Learn to move away from a crowd while aiming back into it, then collect rewards when a gap opens rather than charging straight through danger.
