How to Play Aa Harimanada
Quick start
Enter a match from the title screen. First practise approaching and retreating, then use Button 1 for palm strikes. Try Button 2 against an approaching opponent. When a grapple begins, wait for the white aura before entering a throw command.
Controls
Left/Right: move. Up: jump. Down: brief crouch. Button 1: palm strike; Forward + 1: headbutt. Button 2: counter; tap repeatedly to recover when stumbling. During a grapple, Up + 1 lifts the opponent; Forward + 2 pushes. Forward means toward your opponent.
Aa Harimanada — About this game
Aa Harimanada turns the sumo ring into a side-view fighting arena. Distance matters: stay outside an incoming attack, strike when an opening appears, and close in when you want to grapple. The ring boundary gives positioning a purpose beyond dealing damage. A wrestler caught near the edge has less room to recover, so pushing forward without watching your own position can be costly. Start with the ordinary palm strike and defensive recovery before trying more elaborate combinations. During a grapple, watch for the white aura and time your command to that opening. Learning that rhythm is more useful than pressing both buttons constantly.
