How to Play Arcade Classics
Quick start
Use up/down at the main menu to choose a game and press START. Adjust its options with the D-pad, then press START to begin. Try Missile Command first: move the sight ahead of an incoming missile and press 1 or 2.
Controls
D-pad: menus; aim in Missile Command, move in Centipede, and up/down to move the paddle or Hockey player in Ultra Pong. 1 or 2: fire in Missile Command and Centipede. START: confirm menu selections, begin or pause.
Arcade Classics — About this game
Arcade Classics collects Missile Command, Centipede and Ultra Pong. In Missile Command, aim ahead of incoming missiles and detonate defensive shots along their paths to protect six cities. Each wave supplies thirty missiles, so wasteful firing can leave the cities exposed. Centipede puts you among mushrooms and descending creatures: move your wand and shoot while avoiding the other insects. Both games offer Classic and Sega versions. Ultra Pong offers Pong and Hockey, with styles, optional barriers and a choice of which goal to defend. These are different challenges rather than stages of one campaign. Start with a slower aiming speed in Missile Command, learn the movement space in Centipede and track the ball carefully in Ultra Pong.
