How to Play Puzzle Bobble
Quick start
Choose 1P Play to start the solo puzzles. Aim left/right and press 2 to fire into a matching pair or larger group. Clear the board, and record the password on the Game Over screen if you want to return later.
Controls
Left/right: aim the launcher. 2: shoot; enter symbols on the password screen. Options: up/down selects a setting and left/right changes it. Select END and press START or 2 to leave Options. For passwords, choose symbols with the D-pad and confirm with 2, then select END.
Puzzle Bobble — About this game
Bust-A-Move turns careful aiming into a bubble-clearing puzzle. Rotate the launcher and connect the next bubble to at least two others of its color to burst the group. Clear every bubble to finish the round. The solo mode contains ninety-nine rounds and supports passwords for returning to a stage reached earlier. You can also choose VS Play against the computer or use the original cartridge’s link-cable mode with a friend. Watch the bubble loaded in the launcher before deciding where to fire: an awkward placement can make later matches harder. You cannot wait forever, because the Hurry Up warning leaves five seconds to shoot. Options let you adjust your difficulty and the computer’s strength separately.
