How to Play Buster Fight
Quick start
Choose Hayate for an initial match. Practise moving Left/Right and attacking with 1. For his shuriken, enter Down, Right, then 1 while facing right. Learn this sequence at a safe distance before trying it close to an opponent.
Controls
Left/Right: move. Down: crouch. 1: attack; repeated presses give Hayate a rush punch. As Hayate facing right, Down, Right + 1: shuriken. Button 2: jump. Directional sequences and attacks vary by fighter.
Buster Fight — About this game
Buster Fight is a one-on-one fighting game with four regular fighters, including a ninja and a cyborg. Their different speed, strength and reach make spacing part of each match. Rather than learning a large set of separate attack buttons, practise the directional sequences that lead into special moves. Hayate provides a clear starting point: Down, Right and 1 produces a shuriken attack, while repeated presses of 1 produce rushing punches. Keep an eye on your distance so an attempted technique does not leave you exposed. Try one character for several fights before changing to another set of moves.
