How to Play Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse
Quick start
Press START at the title. Choose Practice or Normal with Up/Down and press 1 or 2. Move with Left/Right and jump with 2. When above an enemy, press 2 again for a bounce attack. Enter castle doors with Up.
Controls
Left/Right: move. Up: enter doors or climb ladders. Down: crouch or descend ladders. 2: jump; hold for height, press again in mid-air to bounce attack. Tap 2 to stay afloat when swimming. Beside an object, press toward it, then 1 to pick up; 1 again throws it.

Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse sends Mickey into Mizrabel’s castle to rescue Minnie. The doors lead to strange worlds, and seven rainbow gems are the key to confronting the witch. Success depends on more than a normal jump: press the jump button again above a target to turn the descent into a bounce attack. Objects can be lifted and thrown, and ladders, water and slopes change how Mickey moves. Hold the jump button for extra height and use the direction pad to line up a landing. Choose Practice to learn the movement before taking on a Normal game.
