How to Play Cool Spot
Quick start
Choose START GAME and confirm with 1 or 2, or press START at the title. Move with left/right, jump with 1 and aim then fire with 2. Collect enough Cool Points before heading to the cage.
Controls
Left/right: move; holding the direction builds to a run. Up/down: look above or below on ground, climb ropes while attached. 1: jump; hold up for a higher jump. D-pad + 2: fire in the chosen direction. START: pause/resume.
Cool Spot — About this game
Cool Spot sends the only free Spot to rescue friends caught in Wicked Will’s cages. Search each stage for Cool Counters, avoid enemies and use bubble shots to clear a path. The difficulty determines how many Cool Points you need before you can free the captive: forty on Easy, sixty on Normal or ninety on Hard. A pointer leads toward the cage, but finding it early does not remove the collection requirement. Explore upward using ropes and carefully timed jumps. Watch health and the timer; stopwatches add time, and restart flags limit how far you must repeat after a lost life. Collecting enough extra points also qualifies you for a bonus game.
