Desert Speedtrap Starring Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote — About this game
Desert Speedtrap Starring Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote combines running and platform jumps with a constant time limit. Holding a direction builds speed, but a high jump or a look around can be more useful than racing blindly ahead. Each flashing star adds two seconds, so exploring a side route can help the clock as well as the score. Bird seed restores energy when eaten, although a booby-trapped kind takes energy away. Springs reach higher places and bonus transporters lead to brief star-filled chambers. Road Runner can peck switches to activate helpful mechanisms. Choose Easy, Normal or Hard before starting, then balance speed with enough observation to spot a safe route. The jump and eating buttons have separate jobs.
