How to Play Devilish
Quick start
Press START at the title and choose Normal Game. Set difficulty and sphere stock, then select Game Start. Move the paddles with directions, change formation with 1 and speed with 2. Keep the sphere moving through blocks toward the goal before the timer expires.
Controls
Directions: move paddles; in menus, Up/Down selects and Left/Right changes settings. 1: change paddle formation. 2: change paddle speed through three levels. START: confirm a menu choice or pause with status. To leave Time Trial, pause with START and press 1.
Devilish — About this game
Devilish turns a prince and princess into paddles and asks you to carry a magical sphere through a hostile world. One paddle attacks from above while the lower paddle protects the bottom. They share directional controls but can form different arrangements, including angled layouts that redirect the sphere. Breaking blocks opens a route toward the stage goal before time expires. Button 1 changes formation and button 2 cycles three movement speeds, making positioning as important as catching the ball. Normal play offers difficulty and stock settings. Time Trial lets you choose stages and chase a better time, but removes continues and the benefit of time-bonus items. Learn to change shape before a difficult rebound instead of reacting only when the sphere reaches the bottom.
