Quick start
Press START, choose the one-player story and confirm with 2. Follow the map to a minigame. Read its goal and button instructions, then complete the challenge before choosing the next route. Use Free mode to practice a troublesome game.
Controls
D-pad: menu and route choices, or movement and aiming when requested by a minigame. 2: menu confirmation. 1 and 2: minigame actions according to each round’s instruction screen. START: begin. Timing, memory and action games use different inputs; check the displayed controls before starting.

Doraemon Waku-waku Pocket Paradise turns a rescue in an underground world into a collection of twelve minigames. Story progress alternates map movement, conversations and a roulette-selected challenge. Branches can offer more easy tasks or fewer demanding ones, so the route matters as well as the game itself. The challenges test action, timing, thought and memory: aim the air cannon, match string figures or remember hidden obstacles while digging. Read the instructions before each round rather than expecting one control scheme for everything. Free mode lets you practice individual games, while the original cartridge also offers cooperative story and competitive play through a link cable.
