How to Play Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
Quick start
Press START at the title, choose a mode with up/down and confirm with START, 1 or 2. Start Scenario with New Game. Move a pair left/right, rotate with 1 or 2 and press down to drop faster.
Controls
Left/right: move falling beans. Down: accelerate descent. 1 or 2: rotate pairs and confirm menus. START: begin, confirm, pause or resume. Up/down selects menu items.
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine — About this game
Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine drops beans in pairs into a narrow dungeon. Rotate and move each pair to connect at least four beans of one color, then use the space left behind to trigger chains. Beans above cleared groups fall, while a pair landing on an uneven surface can split. In a match, large clears send nuisance beans to your rival. These cannot form colored groups and disappear only alongside a neighboring clear. Watch the warning above your field and avoid filling to the top. The Game Gear version includes Scenario battles, timed Exercise, Puzzle challenges and original Gear-to-Gear matches. Passwords let you resume selected progress instead of always restarting.
