How to Play Dragon Crystal
Quick start
Press START at the title to begin. Explore the first maze with the D-pad and press 2 to collect items, money and food. Move toward an adjacent monster to attack. Press 1 for the inventory, select an item and action, then confirm with 2. Check HP and food before heading for the exit; use 2 against suspicious walls to search for passages.
Controls
D-pad: move, attack toward an enemy and select items or commands. 1: display the inventory window and cancel choices. 2: collect items, money and food, search for hidden passages and confirm items/actions. START begins the game; hold START with a direction during play to speed up movement.
Dragon Crystal — About this game
Dragon Crystal turns each expedition into a search through a changing maze. Explore thirty worlds, fight monsters by moving toward them and find the exit leading deeper into the crystal. Items on the ground can become essential weapons, armour or magical tools, but unfamiliar types initially reveal only an appearance rather than their true effect. Using one identifies it, so choosing when to experiment is part of survival. Open the inventory to compare equipment and decide whether to use, equip, throw or discard what you carry. Food steadily decreases as you move: keeping some allows HP to recover, while an empty supply causes health to fall. Hidden passages give exploration another purpose; search suspicious walls rather than assuming every apparent dead end is final. Improving your equipment and level matters, but a safe route and enough food matter just as much.
