How to Play Dynamite Headdy
Quick start
Press START at the title. If the demonstration is running, press START to return to the title and again to begin. Practise jumping with 2 and attacking with 1 plus a direction. Under a HangMan, hold Up and press 1 to grab it.
Controls
Left/Right: move. 2: jump; Down + 2 drops through a platform. 1 + direction: throw the head that way. Up + 1: grab a HangMan above, including after jumping. With Sleepy Head,1 wakes early; with Vacuum Head,1 inhales nearby targets.
Dynamite Headdy — About this game
Dynamite Headdy turns a puppet show into an action adventure. Headdy throws his head at enemies and objects, and the same ability helps him reach higher platforms by grabbing HangMan. Directional aiming matters even during a jump, when attacks can also reach directly below. Strike HeadCase to collect a temporary head power-up: some improve movement or offense, while others recover vitality. The spotlight display changes color as Headdy takes damage, so keep an eye on it while exploring the stage. Learning to use the head for movement as well as combat opens the way through the scenery.
