How to Play Garou Densetsu Special
Quick start
Choose Terry for an initial match. Practise1 punch,2 kick and directional movement. Hold away to guard; add Down for low guard. Facing right, input Down, Down-Right, Right +1 for Power Wave.
Controls
Left/Right: move. Up: jump. Down: crouch.1: punch.2: kick. Hold away from opponent to guard; Down+away guards low.1+2: taunt. START: pause. Terry’s Power Wave: quarter-circle forward +1.
Garou Densetsu Special — About this game
Garou Densetsu Special adapts its duels to the Game Gear’s two attack buttons. Each fighter has punches and kicks for standing, crouching and jumping, with different speed and reach. Crouching kicks knock opponents down. Guard high against aerial attacks and low against sweeps instead of relying on one defensive stance. Special moves combine directional motions with an attack; Terry’s Power Wave uses a quarter-circle forward and punch. A blinking red health bar opens the possibility of a desperation move, but learning ordinary range and defense is the better foundation for the first matches.
