How to Play Foreman for Real
Quick start
Enter a bout and test lateral movement with Left/Right. Use1 for a left jab and2 for a right jab. Hold Up for a head guard, or Down to duck and protect the body. Try Down plus a punch before moving on to uppercuts.
Controls
Left/Right: move sideways. Up: head guard. Down: duck/body guard.1: left jab;2: right jab. Down plus a punch: body punch. Down-Right plus a punch: uppercut. Right plus a punch: hook. START: pause/menu.
Foreman for Real — About this game
Foreman for Real places its boxing exchanges around position and punch selection. A jab, body punch and uppercut do different jobs, and directions modify the two attack inputs. Use the high guard when the opponent attacks your head, or duck into a body guard rather than continuing to throw punches without watching. Move sideways to change position before answering with a short combination. Learning one punch and its directional variation at a time makes the two-button system easier to read. Begin with the jab, then add body punches and return to guard between exchanges.
