Gear Stadium Heiseiban — About this game
Gear Stadium Heisei-ban brings updated Japanese professional baseball players to the compact Gear Stadium format. Select a team, judge pitches from the batter’s box and switch to fielding when the ball enters play. A strong swing is only part of scoring: runners, outs and the next batter change the value of taking a risk. Watch the count before chasing a pitch and keep the defensive base destinations in mind. The directional choice during a swing changes the ball’s flight, with up favoring grounders and down fly balls. Practice the rhythm of pitch and swing before trying to force every hit into a home run.
