How to Play Heavy Weight Champ
Quick start
Choose one-player mode and a level, then press START. In solo play move right to approach and left to retreat. Use 1 for a left jab and 2 for a right jab; up guards the face and down the body.
Controls
1: left jab. 2: right jab. Right/left: advance/retreat in solo play. Up/down: face/body guard. Up-left: sway back; down-left: duck. Down-diagonal + 1 or 2: body punch. Up-right + 1: uppercut; + 2: uppercut or straight. Hold 1 + 2 to charge, release at full meter/white gloves, then 1 for superpunch. START: begin or pause.

George Foreman’s KO Boxing puts footwork and stamina at the center of ten-round fights. Move into range to jab, then retreat or sway away instead of absorbing every reply. Guard the face and body separately, and combine directions with the two punch buttons for body blows and uppercuts. Both fighters’ stamina meters help you judge whether to press an attack or protect yourself. A superpunch must first be charged by holding both buttons; wait for the meter and white glove flash, release, then strike with 1. Its remaining count is limited, so choose the opening carefully. Play the computer or the original cartridge’s linked versus mode.
