GG Aleste follows Ellinor in a fighter sent against the forces occupying Earth. Move in eight directions through a vertical-scrolling battlefield, avoiding enemies and their fire while attacking formations and stage bosses. One trigger fires both the ordinary shot and the equipped special weapon, so survival depends on movement and positioning rather than a separate bomb button. Start with Normal to learn the routes. Special changes the pressure because every enemy fires back. Losing the active fighter consumes a reserve, and the Continue option returns you to the beginning of the stage where the game ended. Watch open space around the ship and avoid chasing a target into a blocked escape route.
