Madou Monogatari I: 3-tsu no Madoukyuu for Game Gear follows a young apprentice through a magical graduation trial. Explore the tower one step at a time, check the map at junctions and collect three magic spheres while rivals and monsters interrupt the search. Battles use commands for magic and items rather than platform reflexes. Fire and Ice Storm give you early ways to fight; healing and other spells expand your choices later. Arle’s expressions and the music communicate her condition instead of relying on ordinary numerical health readouts. Leave room for recovery items and return to useful shops before you are stranded deep inside. The Game Gear adventure also changes its story according to your progress and choices.
