Move through passages, inspect dead ends and use the map to connect discoveries rather than walking blindly between encounters. Magic is more than a battle command: Fire and Ice Storm can also be used outside combat to investigate the environment. Carbuncle adds another concern to your supplies, since hunger can send him after edible items in the bag. Keep recovery goods available, learn what each command does and save a diary before a risky push. START supplies explanations while commands are selected, helping you work through unfamiliar menus. This Game Gear story deserves its own route and puzzle notes rather than a walkthrough copied from another edition.
