How to Play Magical Puzzle Popils
Quick start
Choose NORMAL GAME with the pad and confirm with 2 or START. Move Left/Right and climb ladders with Up/Down. Use 2 for a single punch while learning. Plan the falling blocks before holding 1 for repeated punches;1+2 restarts when stuck.
Controls
Left/Right: walk. Up/Down: ladders. 1: continuous punch. 2: single punch. Up+action: head-butt overhead block. Down+action: kick. 1+2: restart. START: pause/resume. There is no jump button.
Magical Puzzle Popils — About this game
Magical Puzzle Popils for Game Gear is a rescue puzzle built around destruction and gravity. Punch a block away and the blocks above it fall, changing both your path and the princess’s route. She walks on her own, so you must predict when she will turn around as well as where you can stand. Climb ladders, head-butt overhead blocks and kick below to shape a route through each compact room. Green Slimes, vampires and pointed red blocks punish careless timing. Sometimes waiting for the princess is safer than opening the next gap immediately. The normal game contains one hundred screens, and a map editor provides room to build new puzzles. If a solution becomes impossible,1+2 restarts so you can try a different order.
