How to Play Mega Man
Quick start
Use directions on the boss screen and press START. Move, shoot with 1 and jump with 2. Hold 1 to charge the Mega Buster; down + 2 slides. Press START to choose a weapon and again to return.
Controls
Directions: move/climb ladders. 1: fire, hold for Mega Buster charge. 2: jump. Down + 2: slide in the facing direction. START: weapon screen, then confirm weapon and resume.
Mega Man — About this game
Mega Man brings shooting and platform timing to the Game Gear screen. Pick an opening boss, learn the hazards on the route and keep enough space to fire before an enemy reaches you. Holding the Mega Buster shot builds a stronger attack, but jumping and sliding still decide whether you can reach a safe position. Boss victories add weapons to the selection screen, giving later encounters different solutions. Before crossing a gap, check the visible landing and the threat beside it. Learn a short section first, then carry that rhythm through the rest of the stage.
