How to Play Monster Truck Wars
Quick start
Choose a truck with Left/Right and confirm with START;1 displays its picture and statistics. Choose a difficulty and press START to begin qualifying. Hold 1 to accelerate, steer Left/Right and use 2 for nitro on a clear stretch.

Left/Right: turn truck. 1: accelerator during races; view truck/statistics or select garage part in menus. 2: nitro burst during races; buy an upgrade in garage. START: confirm selections and begin race.
Monster Truck Wars — About this game
Monster Truck Wars for Game Gear combines compact circuit racing with repairs and upgrades. Choose a truck and complete a one-lap qualifying heat; your time determines whether you enter the main race and where you start. During the race, drive over useful pickups while watching the line through jumps, mud and obstacles. Hold 1 for the accelerator and save 2 for a well-placed nitro burst rather than boosting into a corner or muddy patch. Speed changes how far a jump carries the truck, but a bad landing can damage it or overturn it. Spend winnings in the garage to repair worn parts and improve the truck. Consistent finishes across twenty courses matter more than one spectacular jump.
