How to Play Nazo Puyo - Arle no Roux
Quick start
Press START, choose NAZO PUYO with the D-pad and confirm with START, 1 or 2. Walk to a merchant and talk with 1 or 2. Read the condition, move limit and upcoming-piece order before placing the first pair. Move with left/right, rotate with 1/2 and use down to lower the pair faster.
Controls
On the map, the D-pad moves Arle and either 1 or 2 talks or advances dialogue. In puzzles, left/right moves the pair, down lowers it, 1 rotates left and 2 rotates right. START opens the puzzle submenu: YES restarts and PASS changes the problem; either costs a mistake. In TOKO PUYO, START pauses. Selection menus confirm with START, 1 or 2.
Nazo Puyo - Arle no Roux — About this game
Arle’s shopping trip for curry ingredients becomes a series of puzzle contests with the merchants. In NAZO PUYO, walk around, talk to an opponent and read the requirement before placing any pieces. The upcoming pairs arrive in the displayed order, and you must satisfy the condition within the allowed number of moves. Simply making an ordinary clear is not enough if the puzzle asks for a particular result. Failed attempts damage Arle, and restarting or passing a puzzle also counts as a mistake, so think through the next falls before dropping. Winning contests earns ingredients and supplies passwords for continuing later. TOKO PUYO offers an endless challenge instead, with rising speed as you gain levels; it does not provide those continuation passwords. Use that mode to practise rotations and chains, then return to the shopping adventure with a plan.
