Quick start
Press START, select the single-player mode and confirm a fighter with 2. Use 1 to punch and 2 to kick. Hold Back to defend and 1+2 to charge when safe. Practice one short attack string before spending the whole meter.
Controls
Left/Right: move. Up: jump. Down: crouch. Back: block. 1: punch. 2: kick. Hold 1+2: charge special meter. Directional sequences plus attacks perform character techniques. START: begin/pause.

Ninku 2: Tenkuuryuu e no Michi for Game Gear centers on side-view martial-arts battles. Choose a fighter and learn ordinary reach before trying to spend the special meter on elaborate techniques. Button 1 punches,2 kicks and holding both charges energy; charging creates an opening for the enemy, so use distance or a knockdown to make time. Each character has attack strings that require the next button after the previous strike rather than one long automatic combo. A multi-hit attack can still be blocked after its first hit. Mix movement and defense to break the opponent’s rhythm, and practice a short reliable sequence before adding more commands. The story and roster belong to this fighting sequel, while Hiroyuki’s block puzzles are a separate game.
