Quick start
Press START and begin the first world. Move on the grid with the pad, use 2 to kick a block toward an enemy and 1 to leave a stunning cloud. Touch stunned foes to defeat them. Align diamonds before clearing the last enemy.
Controls
Pad: move. 1: gas cloud; wait for it to disappear before using another. 2: kick block or side wall. START: pause. While paused,1+2+START gives up one life and restarts the room.

Ninku Gaiden: Hiroyuki Daikatsugeki for Game Gear gives the penguin a block-pushing action puzzle of his own. Clear enemies by kicking blocks into them or touching them after a gas cloud has stunned them. Watch the eggs at the top to see how many enemies can still appear. Rooms also contain unbreakable blocks, bumpers and other pieces that change where a kick will travel. A rebounding block can crush Hiroyuki, so leave its return lane before it arrives. Some stages ask for puzzle solutions or a boss fight instead of ordinary clearing. Lining up the three diamond blocks earns a bonus and matters for the full ending. If you ruin a layout, you can restart at the cost of a life.
