How to Play Paperboy 2
Quick start
Press a button at the title, then choose character and route in the menu with the D-pad and 1. Study the subscriber map. Accelerate with up, use 1 for left deliveries and 2 for right deliveries, and jump with both together.
Controls
Up: pedal faster. Down: slow down. Left/right: steer. 1: throw left; 2: throw right. 1+2: jump. Menus: up/down selects, left/right changes route, 1 confirms. Ride into paper bundles to restock.
Paperboy 2 — About this game
Paperboy 2 puts a rider on a busy delivery route with customers on both sides. Choose Paperboy or Papergirl and an easy, medium or hard route, then check the subscriber screen before pedalling out. Blue roofs identify subscribers, while orange roofs mark non-customers. Aim for mailboxes and porches, avoid damaging subscribers’ windows and steer around unpredictable street hazards. Separate left and right throws make positioning important, and a jump helps clear obstacles. Paper bundles add ten to your stock, up to a carrying limit of nineteen. Perfect service earns a returning subscriber or, when every house subscribes, an extra life. The training course offers more targets and ramps without losing a life for crashing.
