How to Play Power Drive
Quick start
Press START and choose a driving session and car. Leave direction arrows enabled while learning. Hold 2 to accelerate, steer with left/right and use 1 to slow or start a handbrake turn before a tight corner.
Controls
Left/right: steer relative to the car’s direction. 2: accelerate. 1: brake/handbrake. START: begin or pause. Release acceleration and make short steering corrections on slippery ground rather than holding a turn until the car spins.
Power Drive — About this game
Power Drive presents rally driving from an overhead angle, with compact cars sliding through international courses. Getting around a bend cleanly matters more than holding full throttle: brake before the turn, use a short steering input and straighten the car for the exit. Weather and road surfaces change the grip, so a familiar corner may need a different approach. Optional direction arrows help you learn the route while you work against the clock and deal with computer opposition. Prize money funds vehicle maintenance, making collisions costly beyond the time lost. Check the damage after racing and give the tyres attention before spending on the engine. A steady stage that leaves a usable car can be worth more than an aggressive run full of crashes.
