How to Play Power Strike II
Quick start
Press START, move with the directional pad and hold 1 to fire. Watch the next enemy wave before collecting a pickup. Press 2 for a stocked G-Strike when the screen becomes unsafe.
Controls
Directions: move in eight directions. Hold 1: repeat normal and special weapon fire. 2: G-Strike bomb, consumes stock. START: begin/pause/resume.
Power Strike II — About this game
Power Strike II is the Game Gear sequel also known as GG Aleste II. Its vertically scrolling battles put the Lance Bird against waves of enemies and larger encounters. Hold the fire button to keep the main and equipped special weapons shooting, then concentrate on moving into gaps rather than chasing every target. Weapon pickups change your coverage, so notice whether the current pattern suits enemies ahead or threats entering from the sides. G-Strike bombs are limited: use one before a dangerous pattern closes your escape route. Learn enemy entrances and keep enough room to move as the screen advances.
