How to Play Putt & Putter
Quick start
Choose 1 Player and confirm with 2 or START. Survey with the pad, place the ball with 2, press 2 again for the aiming marker and turn it Left/Right. Press 2 at the desired power to putt;1 cancels alignment.
Controls
Pad: survey course, place marker and aim; Left/Right rotates aim. 2: confirm, place ball and putt at selected power. 1: cancel/back or cancel shot alignment. START: menu confirmation and scorecard; press again to resume.
Putt & Putter — About this game
Putt & Putter for Game Gear turns miniature golf into a compact course-reading puzzle. Survey the whole hole before placing the ball on the tee mat, then choose an angle that accounts for walls, hazards and the next stopping point. A bank-shot guide helps show the direction after a wall impact, but strength still matters. Use 2 through the placement, aiming and stroke steps, and stop the power meter when it matches the distance you need. Maximum power is not the right answer for every shot. Cancel an alignment with 1 if the route looks wrong before committing. Check the scorecard between attempts and learn how a controlled rebound can save strokes compared with a direct but risky line.
