How to Play Puyo Puyo Tsuu
Quick start
Press START and choose the single-player mode, confirming with 1 or 2. Move each pair with left/right and practise connecting four of one colour. Use 1 or 2 to rotate and down to lower it faster. Leave the entry column clear and watch the next pair before setting up a second clear underneath it.
Controls
Left/right: move the falling pair. Down: drop faster. 1: rotate left; 2: rotate right. When both sides are blocked, press a rotation button twice quickly for a 180-degree quick turn. START pauses. Menus use up/down to select, left/right to change settings, and either 1 or 2 to confirm.
Puyo Puyo Tsuu — About this game
Puyo Puyo 2 turns falling pairs into a contest of preparation and timing. Connect at least four Puyos of one colour to clear them, then arrange the next falls so the pieces left behind trigger another clear. Those chains send nuisance Puyos toward the opponent; with offsetting enabled, your attack can cancel an incoming one before it lands. The Game Gear single-player mode adds a tower climb: victories earn experience toward the next floor, so each opponent helps determine whether you advance. Keep the third column from the left open, since blocking that entry column ends your match. When a pair is trapped between tall stacks, a quick double rotation can turn it through 180 degrees. Start with small, readable chains before risking a structure that leaves no room for the next pair.
