How to Play R.B.I. Baseball '94
Quick start
Press START, choose your team and opponent with the pad and confirm with 1. Use 1 to swing when batting or deliver the pitch when pitching;2 bunts. After contact, move the fielder with the pad and use 1 to throw toward the selected base.
Controls
Pad: menus, bat position, pitch direction and fielding. 1: confirm, swing, pitch or throw according to phase. 2: bunt and secondary runner action. Direction plus throw selects a base. START: begin/pause.

R.B.I. Baseball ’94 for Game Gear compresses the sport into quick pitching, batting and fielding decisions. Choose your club and opponent, then watch the count and the placement of runners before every pitch. At bat, let a poor pitch pass rather than swinging at everything, and consider whether advancing a runner is worth giving up a stronger hit. On defense, move toward the ball early and throw to a base with a realistic chance of an out. The handheld game offers exhibition-style play, and choosing clubs from the same league can create a best-of-seven series with passwords. A Watch option lets the computer sides play. Learn the timing in a straightforward matchup before trying to manage a longer series.
